
But I’ve been fiddling with cardboard and masking tape to create a template for a handgrip cover. I have a pair that fit Downy. The BarkBusters (handlebar and lever protectors) take up too much room for those. The idea is to keep the wind and weather off the hands. They make shoulder season riding more comfortable, possible.

They are a bit bigger than anything on the market. I don’t want the controls (on the left side that’s blinker, horn, hazards and clutch) to be encumbered at all. I also get cold hands and more protection is better.
I’ll decide tomorrow if I make the right prototype, or start creating the actual muff. I have other projects in the queue but need a couple things to make them happen. It was a nice indoor day!
