I can’t condone

This sort of behavior, but I can’t blame the guy either. It’s just a headline, so perhaps a mere tip of a colossal iceberg. It could also be that simple. I’m minding my own business mostly, and sorting out the variety of feelings it elicits.

In other, local news, I’m hoping to secure parking out by the tar at a neighbor’s after tonight’s freeze. There is a problematic section of road, rife with clay, the total weak link to the asphalt. My neighbors drive on it without regard to its condition, and they are entitled to. It’s unfortunate because the ensuing ruts slow the drying process, even nullify it. I tinker, drain as much water as I can, and long for the years of yore that the road wasn’t plowed or used until the snow broke, clay could set up.

It’s true I want to get a motorcycle out, but more importantly, I’m picking Deedles up in a couple weeks, and the weather isn’t going to be conducive to drying out. Objective statement.

It’s going to be a slow spring, and clay is the litmus…. Will we hear frog song by Earth Day? Not likely, but also not unusual…
