The sun for a few days, it’s going to be an incredible early autumn day!
I’ve purposefully NOT been doing much around the house, partly as it has been rather wet outside, but mainly so I can give my fingernails and fingertips a chance to bounce back. Working with stone, sand, tile, grout, clay, water and tools takes a toll.
I’ll be moving lots of the leftover materials out of the house today, gently. I’m also doing a great deal of head scratching regarding the tub room bumpout on the back of the house.
One key factor includes doing some digging under the house to explore how to set up drainage, connect to the sink drain. It won’t be dusty digging!
The handdug well isn’t as dry as it was last year, but it’ll take more than a couple days of gentle rain to get back to pumping and drinking level. (No deluge up here DownEast, just a good gentle soak.) The drilled well, a year old at this point, is plump and worth every ding-dong penny it set me back!!!
