The “Moto-Station”

Exemplifies how space gets used, morphs over time. The “helmet shelving” (about to come down) held dishware over the hand pump. I still have yet to find homes for some of its contents after downsizing the shelving, replacing it with a spice rack I made for The Loop, where Deedles and I lived on Birch Point in West Bath.

The station fell together, was a good work bench for moto things, and served as a tool and material storage area. Now I need a passageway to the tub room that will be built on the other side.

The old front door from 7 Meadow Heights will finally get torn out, with structural upgrades. It’s been sealed for a couple decades, Neep was the last motorcycle to come in through it, as the door is 36” and useful like that. Neep left the house a couple years ago to make room for Deedles’ Rally, through the smaller front door (which was the rear/laundry door @ 7 Meadow heights!)

I don’t know where the moto stuff is going, ending up. I did build a helmet shelf upstairs when I made the already full shelving for motocamping gear and bedding. Evolving and morphing, moving and grooving…
