We are about to dip under 12h of daylight, the sun is coming up about halfway between the summer zenith and winter’s nadir. A light breeze is picking up and though sun forecasted, temps lodges firmly in the 60’s today.
A mild wet weekend is in store, constant wind direction and speed for three-ish days. It’ll blow some leaves around and down, get the layers wet, start that fragrant decomposition associated with fall and turning cycle of life.
Our new produce person has started, the manager is back from vacation next week and I have four days off in a row. Methinks I’ll be building the tub room…
I still feel behind in ways, but I’m way ahead of where I was while delivering. I’ve started fall cleanup, I’m defining and preparing beds for bulbs, I have sagging grapes to support, and the rocketstove needs to be buttoned up. (The tower is throwing more heat than I had hoped, but it’s glorious. Will I rebuild it with more insulation? Not this year!). Tiling day today
