I’ve been watching a game of Menga, that’s Mega-Jenga at the entrance to Garner Lake road. Versant has been doing a lot of line work, and these massive hunks of wood make a temporary road to protect sensitive land beneath.
I finagled Th&Fr off with some guff from my manager, but he’s a father, he knows the deal (getting kids to plan, commit AND communicate!) so I have a very long weekend coming up, most of it shared with Deedles!
It’s been a long time (for a 19 year old) since he’s been here in May. We’ll be relishing the long days, 15 hours of daylight!!
