Distributing power

To accessories with the power hub that arrived today. As much as I love the Denali powerhub, it’s expensive and complicated. I discovered a much simpler poerhub at half the price. Wiring!

Three of the five leads are utilized. The GPS is hardwired. (Technically the cradle is hardwired that the GPS can pop in and out of, excellent design!). A double USB plug has been hardwired that will live in the tank bag. (I think so at least. It keeps the charging and devices out of the way, weather). In the number three slot, of course the heated handgrips need juice!

I’m not in a rush to find two other accessories to use up the last two leads. They will linger under the seat, available. It’s likely I’ll instal some additional lighting up front, but not now.

While in the area, I’ve removed the rear stock blinkers. Those flimsy things are just waiting for something bad to happen, and of course the lowly stock bulbs drive me crazy, all they do is flicker as blinkers and hazards, lame-O. Nearly bombproof LED clusters are coming, show you when the get here.

Went for a little buzz this morning on btwxd after shuffling vehicles to warm the oil before changing. Like MINCX, an air box mod and new silencer really perked things up. The Delkevic muffler really sings, and of course weighs like a third of stock…

I’m pooped, off to bed so I can prep for the inaugural ride of 2023!
