It’s pleasant outside for early April. Down there in the Growing Spaces Dome? Glad you asked!!!

C’mon in, lemme splane!

Daisies, Lily of the Valley, three species of ferns, wild primrose (blooming!) clover, vetch, and of course, dandelions are bursting forth in the balmy humidity. Absolute sanctuary (what you can’t see and hear behind the pano is the sound of solar powered running water in the 1200gallon tank, indoor pond.

This helps during MaineMotorcycleDrought…. 40’s outside and 70’s inside, with fresh air coming in. I got focused on the house the other day, realized I hadn’t cracked any vents, t’was a hundred in the dome. Zoinkies!!!

I have yet to instal the automatic vents. I’m loathe to drill through the triple walled panels, it just feels sooooo wrong. It’s gotta happen, and I have a workaround for cutting holes in the panels that get solar cooling fans.

It’s a work in progress, and will be until I’m no longer able to do so. Not sure if I’ll have crops inside this summer, I’m not around much working at MBL, cross that bridge soon.

In the meantime, help me stay awake, I’m being lulled!
