After a couple painstaking hours

In the hardware isle in town I have some pieces to complete ongoing puzzles. Man, there are a lot of materials, different heads, thread pitches and sizes of hardware. Mechanical engineering!

After all this wrenching I’ve been both encouraged and excited to get some ratcheting spanner wrenchs. They save time, simplify the process. These are on the low end, adequate for my knowledge, use, experience. It’s an upgrade but will illustrate how many more types of tools it takes to do everything. I’m getting better at making due, but a full garage would be great. Admittedly I don’t love mechanical work, so that’s hardly a goal! They are heavier than regular wrenches so won’t get packed in the road trip tool roll…

Crammed lunch in once home, it wasn’t supposed to take that long in town…. I’ll wrench a little but it’s rather beautiful outside so attending to projects there as well.

April is around the proverbial corner, the frogs aren’t. I was down at the pond yesterday and there’s is very little water showing, demasiado snow and ice. The peeper watch is on though. They follow the Barred Owl’s hoots…

The next participants in the spring procession. I soak up each as they arrive, glad they made it through the winter and doing their thing!
