Ain’t bad, albeit annoying. The handgrip heaters went on smoothly. From past experience I did a couple things to facilitate the instal, I shaped the element stickers first, then heated the handlebar and they stuck like no tomorrow!
The ProTaper pillowtop grips took some elbow grease to get on over the heating elements, but they are in place and so much softer and grippier than stock. I carved little holes in the ends to reinstall the BarkBusters. I hacked the ends off the stock grips forgetting that was excessive. No matter, in fact I’m not sure why I haven’t thrown them out. They aren’t USELESS…
The bummer was discovering that I was shipped the incorrect levers. Mistakes happen, I’m shipping them back tomorrow on a town run. It’s an insanely easy instal so they can get popped on when they arrive.
I’m going to play outside for a while. After a fresh coating of two inches, the wind has whipped up and the sun is blaring. Gunna get me summa dat!
