I’ve been carefully watching the well cover. It’s been in “STAY OFF” mode for a couple years already, out of caution.
Now it’s time to replace. I might not get to it before parts fall in, but the well is so low I’ll be going down to clean the bottom anyways.
The pump indoors was bringing up murky sediment laden water, so likely not pumping again until the water table bounces back. (It’ll be months at least!!)
