Delightful!!

Rain day at the p-pad!!

I washed Hedwig (still next door in my neighbor’s drive as I made room for the gravel dump) towards the end of the first wave. It looked like not much else was happening, then after a pause the rain began picking up and WHAM less than two seconds after a sharp lighting burst a monstrous rolling clap of thunder roared across the sky and East, followed by heavy showers.

It’s certainly only a superficial soak, but welcome!

I’ve ordered the first half of the last piece I need for the new stove core. The second half will be easy to find, and hopefully at the spot I’m thinking of, they can alter it by making a hole the size of the ordered piece and then weld them together. It’s for the secondary air intake, which will be explored and explained as I build the stove in October.

Prolly going to order a couple more cords of wood, going from catch up to get ahead…
