On less than HOW but more WHEN to make this happen

I almost zipped upta camp to do some measuring, data collection. These growing domes are designed to not be heated (for the most part) and as much as those cool Maine built greenhouses I was looking at are, these are NEXT LEVEL.

While rooting around online I came across these, more like stumbled. I’m relatively convinced a 22’ dome would work (part budget, part size). These folks out of Colorado are making amazing things that grow amazing things!

A water tank/“indoor pond” buffers temps. Cooling in the summer, warming in the winter. It sits towards the rear, northern side of the dome.

I think I’d need to lay and compact a gravel ring of a couple feet down in the gorchard as it’s pretty mooshy some times. I think banking the edges with huglkulturs would be perfection, adding a moat of insulation and gardening space. (I’d have to adapt the foundation supports, and plan on exploring options with the company)

I have one more week with Crowley (they might be trying to retain me, I have some thoughts on what that might look like) and it’s pretty much all I can do to not order a dome for delivery while packing to move up there and get started….
