It started with the top

After I noticed that the handled griddle had a smooth outer ring on the cooking surface. It reminded me of a time a buddy used the bottom of a mug to sharpen a kitchen knife.

It works well, admittedly with a dose of elbow grease, and my cast iron improves regularly

The silver patterns on the cast is fresh metal, as the ceramic smooths off the high spots. I’m using pieces of the bottom, the lid had a pot (which broke the first time I used it, separate story about physics).
