I forgot about the starboard inwale. One crack, same trouble spot (I was about to put in a screw and gave it the tiniest bit of pressure with another clamp aft of the fastner/frame, BAM. Such a sad sound…. I listened to the wood this time though, watched it, didn’t expect TOO much of it, mostly…)
It’s just so much easier the second time!!
There’s still a significant discrepancy between the height of the inwale and gunwale, so annoyed about that, have a variety of solutions, but don’t want to rush anything.
Did I say proto-boat? It’s not anywhere near perfect, but I don’t want to use that as an excuse to do my best, push the envelope…
