The upper and lower trunk logs to the trunk sides. They will snug up to the head blocks once glued and screwed.
Once the frame is turned over, the hole for the dagger board will be sawn out. I know, sawing a hole in boat just doesn’t sound right. That’s why such care goes into creating a watertight trunk!
