It. Takes. Time…

Everything on the lower course of walls is blocked and insulated. I was glad I took the time to back prime trim, but it takes time!

The blocking for siding likely bowed the RO (rough opening) so the window was too snug for comfort. I broke out the planer and shaped the RO back into acceptable tolerance, albeit the window is still snug. I feel that with all the plastic trim from the slider assembly in tact, I have some wiggle room. Had all that trim come off (as it has in the past) I wouldn’t be tolerating ANY snug as glass doesn’t flex, bend, adjust well at all.

One done. Even weather tight!

I unloaded the ceiling materials and tucked them “inside” (it’s pretty much indoors at this point, but not quite) from the trailer then decoupled it as I’m off to work @6:30a. At least it won’t be AS dark (but will be soon…).

Short friggin’ day, between the cold start and DLS. Into the tunnel….
