Yesterday I tidied up around the structure after tucking some crushed stone at the corners, including a near ceremonial unhooking of the trailer

Getting the trim board along the eve done was a curious challenge. The board was arrow straight, the eve not so much…. The rafters varied enough (as the ledger wasn’t any more perfect than the wall it was fastened to) for me to realize how little things add up. Yet again.
Construction becomes a sum of its parts. Deviation from plumb, level and true add up in a three dimensional puzzle. An exhausting and gratifying puzzle.

After work today I raked the yard and washed W3LLY for a change of pace, remind the rest of the list it existed.
