The sink drain is embedded in the original cement pad. The first summer I lived here I put insulation and a radiant floor heating system on top of that OG slab. I’m not disturbing either layer, and have to conjure a way to connect above grade.
The drainage pipe will have to run over the floor, which means the tub shower will have to be elevated some. I had a feeling that was the case to connect UNDER the slab. Now it’s just more so as I’ll be connecting OVER the slab.
I’ve considered many different locations for this project, it keeps coming back to having wiring, drainage and plumbing all conveniently focused in that area as well as the old back door needing replacement…
