Today

Was def mo chilly, but lovely, and we got some amazing brussel sprouts in from our dear northern neighbors. Very nice shallots came in too, so I made chicken thigh masala, ON WOOD HEAT no less.

I have a busy Hanni week coming up as the produce manager is on vacation (processing 10 cord of wood and pulling the dock at camp, did you say “fall”?) but in the middle of it comes in our new cut fruit dude.

Finding a nice rhythm, despite high 30’s tonight. The hummers have left, leaves are turning, will frost wait until October?
