News flash, massive spoiler, THERE IS NO CLOUD!! All those data centers people have legitimate gripes about? That’s the “cloud”. All your movies, online shopping, music streaming, calendars, photo storage, bank statements, shopping lists, you name it, THERE IS NO CLOUD. The only thing it’s clouding is the water, air, and truth.
While people don’t care until they can hear one, their powerbill suddenly goes up, their water is suddenly mysteriously polluted, the delusion that “the cloud” is where all things digital go is somewhere “up there” is awfully convenient.
The solution? Betcha don’t wanna know, do anything to eliminate the illusion of a digital cloud, and curb our trajectory. Maybe I’ll just get a calendar, go old school and put my work schedule on it. Babysteps…
