Showers were forecasted about 4pm. Plenty of time to get home from a noon Hanni departure, and futz and organize. I watched it move southeast (from the upper left corner to the lower right), checking occasionally and it looked like things were lining up.

The sky darkened, a stiff gust whipped up with that smell in it, and all the prep for was worth it. The rain barrels won’t fill, I’m just on the south edge of it, but worth covering the chop and table saw, woodpile.
The sky is already brightening, and the cursory rinse passes. I love having tools like the MyRadar app to not be caught unawares…
