Our government has gone through some changes. NOAA was gutted, to say the least. Scientists ran a climate change website, they all got fired, now it’s merely propaganda (and I won’t bother telling you the address, don’t waste your time there…)
The people that ran it then, have banded together, raised some money, launched what a very popular page/topic on the NOAA website, it’s called ENSO (direct link!) which is an acronym for El Niño Southern Oscillation.
It’s very simple, it’s very scientific, it’s very real. No political agenda, just the facts. Believe what you want, I’m watching the data.
Our winter here in Maine isn’t forecasted to be radically different, a little warmer and lighter precipitation than “normal” but we’ll just have to wait and see. It’d be fine with me if it wasn’t as cold as last!!!
