The rental I’m driving has a “softened” grill and inner fender parts. It’s been “massaged” by previous drivers and was beginning to eviscerate. (Translation: the radiator was hanging below tolerance after the plastics bits in the front of the vehicle were broken and bent by some light accident/bump and dent situation.)
I’ve supported the radiator and secured some flapping bits, bringing further repair materials will nullify their necessity, right?
I’ll be taking a dip somewhere in the readily available fresh water somewhere towards the end of my shift. The spots are easy to identify as cars are parked in droves near them with soggy bedraggled Mainers seeking relief from this heat AND humidity. It may only be in the nineties, but it’s a wicked gross nineties…
