A green slippery slope. Haven’t whacked anything yet, grass seed heads are forming, dandies are on the dwindle (and hiding!) and knocking it back is imminent.

It’s good to let it run, absorb sunlight and carbon. It makes excellent mulch once cut, additional seed is a bonus, but I don’t want to let it go too far, get woody. Gray end of the week might be the call (it’s hot today in the sun, like yesterday, but not epic

I finished the end of the boardwalk, tucking it in with clover and grass dislodged during the process. Grape arbor posts wait in the wings. The third post ended up utilizing the makeshift bracket as I found a stone that wasn’t going to move, but got deep enough to at least plumb and settle a temporary post.

The grome is actually feeling more like a greenhouse than a hideout, more on that later
