Quelling my annoyance

I’ve had breakfast, I’m finishing my sMocha, tinkered in the grome, getting ready to boot up my work device for the delivery forecast, and watching a robin in the yard.

Robins are amazing worm hunters. It pisses me off in fact. I’d rather have worms than robins.

Alas, when humans intervene with the natural order, it upsets the balance. Over and over again we see this. Well, many don’t of course, and intervene further for profit, self gain, perceived control of the natural order.

I’m annoyed at the robin for eating worms that aerate and amend the soil. I’m annoyed at myself for not allowing nature to work its own infinitely wise and natural order, its own perfection.

The robin eats worms and excretes fertilizer, makes beautiful sounds, is part of the web of life humanity often seems hellbent on altering to its will. It’s a process, allowing this order, stepping away, being a better objective observer, exploring ways to be PART of the natural process versus manipulating it…
