Is kicking in as temps gently climbed towards freezing. I went out to inspect the pavement, salty and wet but visible.
En route I had a few good saves as any packed snow is solid ice from rain early this week. THEN, on a big flat puddle I knew was there, my feet weren’t below me anymore, zero texture or topography to get a purchase or balance on WHAM only point of contact right sacrum and upper gloot, full smack-down.
Kept moving and now nursing it, but it’s going to be a few gimpy days. It’s so stunning how quickly it happens, even to the sure footed.
Ugh
