Choo got some niiiice springs dere man! I don’t have time to instal them (I might, but don’t want to rush, and be sure to do it as best I can…)
Briefly, the suspension on the crf250L is mooshy, designed for a (lean) teenager or man-bun skinny-jean millennial. I’m already overboard with my manly frame and riding gear (boots, helmet, gloves, armored jacket and pants). Hauling BDR supplies is out of the question.
Stock set up splits the duty between the forks, one has a spring while the other has oil and valves. This kit has TWO springs, and GOOD ones. The fork tube top caps, while not adjustable, have the ability to burp air from the shock. Best practice finds one doing it before every ride.
Can’t wait to instal them. It’s not rocket science, but it’s not a slap-dash affair. Things are buttoned up and I’m packing. Check in at the hostel in Halifax after 5p
