As the first rays of today tickle the tree line, I’m making a cup of tea. The trailer is off the property, out on the pavement!

Life can be so much more doable when paying attention. Yesterday the snow was shovelable, this morning the road was drivable. As Sheila out to the store put it after parking the trailer and grabbing some (chocolate) milk (it was the only whole milk) “you just hafta get off your ass and do it.” She also told me she’d let me know how she was once fully awake!

Do I enjoy being up before dawn? Not particularly, and at over 12.5 hours of light, it’s not even that early…. There is one less thing in the yard, and after I start my tea, there will be one less thing in the house!

Early bird nails the worm. Sheila mentioned she saw a robin, which reminded me I did too the other day but failed to mention it in blogville.

The shift is on, the winter doldrums melting
