Some redistribution

Of snow for a couple reasons. I don’t want to slow bulb blooms, but feel doing so protects them from erratic WaCo weather, inevitable cold snaps. It waters the nascent growth in the meantime, as the snow melts.

The redistribution also makes melt occur faster by 1) moving snow from deeper areas (yes, there is over a foot of coverage!) and 2) putting it in areas where snow wasn’t as thick, melts faster.

So it’s kind of a win-win plus some exercise! Did some work on the road out to the pavement, draining puddles and smoothing some spots. It pains me to see my neighbors drive on it with disregard for their impact. Oh well. It’s definitely not my road anymore!
