It’s practically surreal

Coming downstairs to 70*! I ran the trash via sled out to the pavement before I even started a fire! not before, of course, I had sucked down half my morning electrolytes…

The above picture is the backing of my insulated panels. They are fastened together with heat and pressure. It makes the cool horizontal pattern seen in the pic.

The second layer, the insulated quilted microsuede, brings a blackout level of coverage and in the neighborhood of doubling the insulative value. It has fewer layers, no wind/vapor barrier, but I don’t want to trap anything in the middle of the panel.

I was on a roll last night and did the upstairs third small panel. Imma have some breaky and embark on the big panels. They are stacked (as it were, matching windows on first and second floor) the sliders from the kitchen dining area on 47 Griffin Ave (my family’s home while I trudged through highschool).
