Progress!!

Despite the photo not being very different, things are moving ahead. The elbow wasn’t corroded, but misaligned and cluttered with crumbs.

I was able to clean out the crumbs, open up the attachment point to the bench, realign the elbow and then stuffed the empty space with rockwool.

The stove is drawing much better, but still itself needs sealing. All the little steps that add up to efficiency count ( or “increased efficiency” as I doubt the absoluteness of “efficient”. There are too many variables and nothing is perfect, doesn’t have emissions, transfer of energy, loss somewhere along the line. It’s just reality, we can chase efficiency, but to attain it, as an absolute, not happening, at least with the current platform we are running…. Oh YES, we can strive and move away from inefficient, don’t get me wrong, it’s just how far along the efficiency curve remains to be seen. This I know, attainable progress is welcome, increases my efficiency!)
