Is progress.
I won’t break down the photo, the elements of said “clutter” one by one.
I will point out a couple things:
1) The stove core got a vacuum and the center woodburning cooktop was replaced, upgraded (already, before sunrise, AKA no fire in the box) My attempt to seal the cooktop was a lesson more than “a fail”, but still requires a solution. (To be implemented tomorrow morning pre-fire)
2) Some things are being staged for removal (donation, trash)
3) The insulation is awaiting installation, just need to go to town for the rockwool going in behind it…
4) another mess ensues, I’m removing the plywood bead board on the cathedral ceiling of the lower/kitchen/stoves area to both insulate and more importantly, seal. (You could have the best/most insulation in the world, but eliminating airflow is critical. Essentially leaks nullify insulation, simply put…)
My hope is to have this section done before dogsitting in a couple weeks, if not upstairs too!!
