Clean-up…

This moment has been dangling mentally for years, physically in front of me for half a year.

OUT with leftover materials!!!

New things went into the stove, the core, ceramic fire board, the stove top. Other parts went back into the stove, vermiculite, stone and sand mainly.

Thing too, with a timeline crunch project, cleanup happens as needed, as little as possible, until completion (or levels of fail stymie progress.) the stove area isn’t the only mess!!!

The stove is very quiet, and HOT, did I say wicked hot?! Thing about the barrel on a J-tube (you know, that funky stove I used to have) is that when it’s hot, it’s obvious to steer clear, allow handsome girth. The new stove has its own hotspots, I’m finding them. A burn reminds me I’m not dreaming, this has been a surreal few days
