With bed frame headers over oven (as seen above, below the core) and firebox (seen below, above the oven {aboven?}) openings. I was out in the snowy woods making sparks, the metal blade works well!!
It’s a little unnerving trying to calculate/compensate for lack of mortar. I can’t be exact, but it’s a worthy exercise, step in the process. I need a few more bricks, but I’m not cutting anything until the mortar is flowing/ready.
I’m contemplating and considering alternative setups, this isn’t a stove you bring home and stick in the hole…
