Got up before dawn to witness the eclipse, aka Blood Moon.
It was eery watching Earth’s shadow creep across the moon’s face. Similar to the photo above, the last bit of white, direct light diminished as the orange hue kept it visible.
We weren’t able to see the light return to the full moon as it crept down into the horizon. We were at Pemequid Point so stayed to watch the sun rise up out of the Atlantic.
Astounding how many things move in concert and comprise this world we know, such a small part of the infinite universe around us
