One tank or two?

After using two tanks (in the chainsaw) today, I’m down to the nitty gritty,m. I yarded it out of the woods, getting it off the wet ground.

If it’s dry in the morning I’ll buck another tankful, happy to see the rounds high and dry, airing out. Soon I’ll have to orchestrate renting a splitter.

The closest one is 40 minutes in the general opposite direction, Calias. It’s more feasible to grab one in Bangor on my way through from work, returning it as I return to work.

Unless, because I really don’t want to drive the car all that way, I do the math and it makes sense to do a couple local round trips.

Machias used to have a rental place (only 30 minutes away)…

There’s no way I’m going to attempt a single day split/rental, so that’ll play into the plan
