Yah, MINCX is earning her place in the quiver, I’m impressed! The panniers are incredibly useful and despite being heavy/bombproof and creating some drag (sleek and smooth they are NOT) getting mileage above 70/gallon!!! That makes the trip a) more fun than a car, 2) hurt less at the pump (nonethanol is $6/gallon!) and 3) have a much lower carbon footprint! What’s not to love?!
Next weekend I’m in the car, working two days so I can hang with Deedles for the weekend, and then run the trailer down to Cotuit/BOF to scoop up some things. That’ll be a less efficient/fun trip, yet worthy
