Pushing the line

Ahead. ALL triangles are assembled and trimmed. That checks off the first three steps of shome production. (I added one by prepainting the angled ends that butt to other struts. Three per triangle.)

That means the template/jig comes down/apart!

Though it isn’t completion, at this point all two coated triangles are combined with mates forming the larger pieces that become the dome once connected.

Hopefully we can get those pieces covered with plastic today. Another set of hands is going to be VERY helpful, and my battery powered stapler arrived. Time to test that thing out!

Hash is on the stove as the late winter sun climbs up out of the trees amidst scattered clouds. Deedles is slumbering and I’m loading and cocking projects. We have brief morning showers en route, but it won’t stop the progress!
