The riserless core is essentially built. The inner walls are going to be part fire brick in order to offer support for the stove top (in the middle of the lids). For now there’s a gap, but once things finagle into place, this suckers gonna rip!
Note the gap in the tunnel port, the bottom inside of the arch. That will be cut out after the ruckus of building.
This core gives me a very good sense of stove sizing now! Basically bricks support and encase the core, the oven is below it…
