The upgrade is going to be a leap! This top will adorn it (the author/designer uses glass tops from old electric stoves), improving cooking immensely, heating more water better, “batch box” (a larger amount of fuel still burning at smaller rocketstove style, all out) burns will be as hot if not hotter, and not need fiddling and tending.
The original had kerosene on the left where I’m going wood, and propane on the right, which will harbor another water heater, duct to the dirty oven below, allowing the bench exhaust through (tweaking the design considerably, but that’s part of it design.)
Might get it done in April waiting for the grome. If not then an excellent summer project. Materials are already in the works, the prototype is about to grow up!!
