My template idea didn’t translate from 2D to 3D. I figured out a way to trace the template off the iPad.
The dark triangles signify the northern side, back of the dome that are insulated/not translucent, where the indoor tank will nestle.
I used flimsy paper and my tracing was pretty good at best, but it’s a first step and very educational, as well as FUN!
I’m going to dig out my dome file and root through it, brush up language, basics.
