Today I’ll be watching the patterns of sun rays and shade with a very different eye.
Yep, it’s all about the growing dome.
This morning it’s 64* inside (Overnight I let the microboiler extend the work the rocketstovemasswaterheater did during the day) and 2* outside. My brain immediately goes to “what would the dome temp be?”
I’ll know next year, a question I very much enjoy knowing a massive undertaking will reveal.
I’m not planning on having crops next winter, but at least having the dome completed and buttoned up, and the tank/indoor pond established.
Methinks I’ll be thinning some softwoods to the east, inviting more winter sun in. To the west is largely out of my control, not on my property, but it’s advantageous getting the ball rolling, heating cycle started ASAP.
