mmmm, Fromage

I’ve been branching out on the cheese front. A few Aprils ago the Beebe’s turned me onto Port Salut, which quickly became a regular.

A little while ago I tried some Camembert and liked it. It was more grounded and hearty than Brie, but generally when I go there, it’s double or triple cream, texture and rich!!

I was fondling the cheeses at Hannafords the other day and this Saint Angel jumped into my hand, registered, and on to the the cart. Not local, thank you France. Gentle rind, soft in between like a multi-cream soft, and my nose detected a lil funk.

It’s all there, the rind is pleasant, just gooey enough inside, and that hint of funk was legit, it’s pleasant but but doesn’t make my tongue feel like it bit tinfoil.

Can angels be saints? I don’t think saints are angels, but that’s not my department. The fromage though, showing up on the board again, fo shoze!!
