A few of my “Bucket of Death” traps for mice etc.
At a delivery I saw a version with rope and piping (PVC in both that and this case)
Seems promising as the pipe is smooth (zero traction = down to the bottom ye go!) and is centered on the rope. I thinks it’s less about getting it to turn (like the old school dowel version, harder to make than it sounds) but just luring the rodent away from the edge enough to drop in.
