Yesterday I got it attached to the keel and fastened the knee to it.
Today I got the gunwales and chines fastened to it.
I was about to get started on the breasthook (a horizontal piece between the most fore parts of the gunwales and stem, it becomes the fore seat of the inwales) and quarter knees (the stern version, bracing the transom and gunwales as well as creating the aft seat for the inwales)
But a friend was about to set sail and wanted some company, some assistance. It was a glorious day on Casco Bay on a 25’ Rodes, I’ll get a photo of Portia eventually, but it took much longer than I anticipated.
