
I was about to head home after a typically short summer delivery day and the tank setter came breezing into the office. “You done?” he asks. After a nod, “come with me” and six hours later, a rain shower and a lovely tip for our services, we drove back to the yard, in the dark.
It was a reminder of what winter will be like, even though the second half of my day was digging, running gas lines, setting and loading propane tanks. It was a long but good day
