But I refreshed my phone case. The other Griffin Survivor was hanging in there, mostly. The other day I needed my phone at work and my hat was in the way, as I grabbed it the phone jumped just enough, flew out of the truck and down to the pavement.
On impact, the case popped open and the there was my phone, as I gazed down in horror from the seat of m6ytruck, only to be instantaneously relieved. Not only did it land “butter side up” but the case did it’s work even in its gently dilapidated state.
Less than 20bux delivered says I won’t have those moments of horror, even if ever so short… (it’s another Griffin Survivor, different color. The Griffin website no longer sells them, so I had to scout. Shouldn’t I have ordered three when I found them? I didn’t because I wasn’t sure what phone I’d have in 5something years, but the SE, i7 and i8 are same case/size, and it works for me)
It has a built in screencover, which didn’t win me over at first. When I removed it due its failing, I replaced it with an adhesive glass stick on, and while the glass itself was a better texture, I didn’t like how brittle, unforgiving it was.
Phones are great, till the get busted. So far I’m winning that battle. A new case to support my ongoing case…
