Hand written on the can in the blank color section it read “Dark Beryl Met” and I wasn’t quite sure what that meant. I had forgotten how powerful acrylic enamel paints were. Pulled the sealed top (never opened, inherited the gallon with the property.)
Pretty sure it’s automotive paint, or something similar. Stuff is wicked cool. I didn’t do it justice, it’s likely meant to be sprayed. It did fascinating things on the wood, soaking in on certain spots and leaving a metallic blush behind. Got a feeling it’s going to be bombproof!!
The metal propane tanks painted very easily, superb coverage, and funky lines and layers. I’m not going to try and capture that here, just so amazed that after 20 years the P~pad is still providing for itself, amazing…
