Clearly the power had been out, surged, blinked, something. The tell tale sign is resetting the small stereo. It’s has some settings that all clear when power is lost.
In the kitchen, this power event tripped the first GFI outlet, and before I had it diagnosed needed to trim the shelf in order to get my face into the breaker box. The last two Belgian oak tables from Poplar St garage have completed the set, and the medium table will be the first resting spot for the turntable. It was tricky leveling it. There is a very large subwoofer under the big oak table to the right, so leery of putting the turntable on it. It would be really easy and makes sense, except the stylus picks up vibrations and having bass vibrations going through a table lead to lots of unwanted sound, feedback.
